Parish Financial Reports
Parish financial statements for FY 2009/10 will be available to parishioners through September 12th. They can be found on the tables located at all entrances to the church.
H3 Bishop’s Fund 2010The efforts for the 2010 Bishop’s Fund are in the final stages. Our parish has already raised $56,419.53 towards its goal of $58,450.00. Our parish is currently Under Goal, if you have not yet given, please help our parish reach its goal as quickly as possible.

Knights of Columbus
The Winooski Knights of Columbus meet every 2nd Monday of each month at the Senior Center at 7 PM.
Any man 18 years of age or older wishing to join the Knights should contact Grand Knight Brian Senecal at 893-4998 or Deputy Grand Knight Roger Bell at 655-1032.

Daughters of Isabella
Madonna Circle 730 meet every 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Winooski Senior Center at 7 pm. Any women wishing to join the Daughters please contact Andrea Senecal at 893-4998. "You, as women, have your own gift to offer to the Church -- a gift that is very precious and very needed."
R.C.I.A.
Stands for “Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.” It is the Church’s process of preparing individuals for the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion and Confirmation). The process begins in the Fall and runs through Easter. R.C.I.A .classes will begin on Tuesday, September 28 from 7 to 8 PM and will be held at St. Francis Xavier School.
Attention Parishioners
The bathroom facilities at St. Francis Xavier Church are being completely renovated. The project is expected to take approximately 2 weeks (began August 16th). During this time please take any necessary steps before arriving at church as the bathrooms may or may not be available for use.
The cost of the project will be paid with Capital Campaign Funds which were invested over the last several years.

L’Union Saint Jean Baptiste
Winooski Chapter # 35, Division of Catholic Financial Life will hold their monthly dinner/meeting on September 20th. It will be held at Friendly’s Restaurant located at 69 Mountain View Drive. Colchester (across from Shaw’s Supermarket). Social/dinner will be at 5:30 PM and meeting will begin at 7 PM. Dinner will be ordered from the menu. Attendance confirmation must be made by calling Janet Deforge at 655-0437 no later than Sunday, September 19th.
Religious Education For grades 1 through 8
Classes will begin on Monday, September 20th from 6 to 7 PM at St. Francis Xavier School. Please note: there is no registration night this year. Registration forms will be mailed to all returning families and new students will register on September 20th beginning at 5:45 PM.
Schedule of classes for the High School Program (grades 9 and 10) will be available soon.

Looking for lunch room volunteers!
St. Francis Xavier School is beginning the school year and we are looking for help in our lunch room. The work involves setting up the already prepared food, serving the children, and cleaning up at the end of lunch. It's fun and rewarding-- we promise you'll enjoy working with your fellow volunteers AND the wonderful students. No special training or background in food service is necessary. If you can lend a hand from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm on one or two days a week, or even every other week, please call Bonny Picard at 655-1375. Thank you!
Winooski 2nd Annual Culture Hop
Will be held on Friday, September 10th from Noon to 8 PM at the O’Brien Community Center (32 Malletts Bay Ave.). Come and learn about many of the different cultures in our community!.
